MOSTLY BLACK SELL OUTS HELP LENNAR ON PARCEL A (09/30/06)

The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) to Parcel A and Hunters Point is trying to rubber stamp a plan for Lennar BVHP LLC to create more Market Price housing units and less units that were promised at a lower price as stated in the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) be it rental or whatever. The DDA is a legal document and over 40 meetings were conducted to push this document. I attended all the meetings and I find it difficult that in the middle of game the rules are now being changed. The language of the DDA must be maintained and if changes are to be made there must be focused meaningful dialog and not Emergency Meetings with little or no input from the community - less proper noticing. Michael Cohen as usual was propped up to sell the model that really makes no sense. The Navy is out to teach the City and County of San Francisco a good lesson. The City cannot force the Navy to give up any of the Parcels as it did with Parcel A without proper cleanup. It is critical that we look at the Cumulative Pollution. We have serious radiological elements that need abatement and we have fools wanting to live in the middle of Chernobyl. It will take a billion to really clean up Parcel E. Even if you cap it ­ it will seriously affect the health of everyone within a 1 mile radius. Koffi Bonner the weasel tried to say something about nothing. There were others too like Saul Bloom aka David Salomon who receives over $386,000 a year to do outreach and he is also the Chair of the Sub-committee of the Environment. He has done little outreach and at today's meeting there were more Poverty Pimps in attendance and less the affected community. Lennar BVHP LLC has a very bad track record when it comes to building homes and housing units. They love to buy out the folks that agree with Lennar and present was that weasel from the past - Roy Willis. Other sell outs Oscar James, Olin Webb, Doris Vincent, Willie B. Kennedy, Aurelious Walker, Calvin Jones, the Dollar Minister, and several others that are on the take. Lennar BVHP LLC cannot fool all the people all the time. The CAC has been a tool for the City and Lennar BVHP rubber stamping most everything to the detrimental of the community. It is time we take control of our destiny and send the crooks packing to a place that they all belong - jail. It is too late to change the DDA and it is too late not to think that the people can be fooled again and again.
